Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get hold of you ?

Simply telephone, e-mail or write to me, whever suits you best. I am always available for a meeting if you would wish a more detailed discussion. My full contact details are on the Contact page.

When do your tours go?

Most of my tours are by request which means that all you have to do is contact me to secure the date that suits best, then we can plan your tour!

From time to time, I arrange specialist scheduled tours in advance with pre-arranged dates, in which case details will be posted on this web site or advertised in the media. If you would like to be kept in touch with scheduled tours, please post to me or e-mail your contact details with a note of your interests.

How much notice do you require ?

For my routine tours (see Tours) I am ready when available. If you would like a custom designed tour, it is best to contact me at least one month in advance of the date you have in mind so that I can advise you.

How much walking is involved?

This really depends on the nature of your tour - some are walking tours of varying length through, say, the streets of London, the battlefield tours involve some walking in countryside, while others are visits to galleries and museums, and may combine with coach or boat. Accordingly, I will advise you as to exactly how much effort is involved as well as on what clothing and footwear will be appropriate.

Can you accomodate wheel chairs and prams ?

Of course! So many attractions and means of transport are wheel chair and child friendly now that a little organisation beforehand would ensure a trouble free tour.
